Brian Dekle understands that an effective and quick response in today's BCDR environment is the key to success. With a strong background in Emergency Response and Logistics Management, Brian continues to bring to NACS the necessary tools for success; the best people, innovative techniques and solutions, and a work ethic that is second to none. Mr. Dekle is a member of the USCG Auxiliary, a pilot for Angel Flight Southeast, and is a long-time Volunteer Fire Fighter and Search and Rescue Diver.


ROBERT SAPP

Bob Sapp has a tremendous background in Law Enforcement and Emergency Management. A former under-cover police officer, Bob transitioned into Emergency Management by joining the Georgia Emergency Management Agency. In this position Bob was part of the Governors Critical Infrastructure Protection Task Force (CIP). He was then tasked to head the DeKalb County Police Department's Emergency Management department. In this position, Bob was responsible for all facets of the department with special emphasis on grant funding.
 
 

HAL NEWMAN

Newman's work in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery has included the establishment of a specialized educational program in partnership with Penn State's Center for Community & Public Safety. During the Hurricane Katrina catastrophe, Newman was chosen to lead an emergency management team to to evaluate and assess the care and conditions of the special needs, disability, elderly and medically challenged population in Mississippi. That experience led to meeting US Secretary of State Rice and receiving the Martin Luther King, Jr., Legacy Award for Humanitarian Service. Newman studied journalism at Bethany College and emergency health services systems analysis at University of Maryland.
